This quote is Juliet talking and she wants to know why his name is Romeo because she is not allowed to talk to any Montagues. They are the enemy and she would get in trouble by her family and just doesn't want Romeo to be a Montague so they can be together.

Act 3 Quote interpretation
Written Response
“Tis torture, and not mercy. Heaven is here,
Where Juliet lives”
Romeo is saying that his banishment is complete torture, and the only time he’s in heaven is when he’s with Juliet. He says the banishment is worse than death, and that it’s the worst punishment of all. Heaven on earth is where Juliet lives because she makes everything better for him and he cannot live without her.
The quote relates to the story because he is upset about being banished and doesn’t know what to do, until they start coming up with a plan for him to escape. Romeo knows he will not be able to make it without Juliet’s love so he has to think of something so he’ll be able to see her again.

(Voice by Alissa)

What this quote is saying is that Juliet is drinking the potion for Romeo and she is doing all of this just so she can be with him. She cares about him so much that she is willing to do just about anything for him. This can relate to our life because some people would do anything for the one they love the most. I like seeing people that love each other so much and always do things to make their one love happy. Its just like Romeo and Juliet, and hopefully someday I'll have a love like theirs.
